Krone is now the second largest manufacturer of truck trailers and semi-trailers in Europe.

In Werlte (Emsland) some 650 employees produce around 19,000 vehicles per year on a site covering a total of 180,000 m². The product range encompasses semi-trailers, linkage systems, trailers and motor vehicle bodies.

Since April 2000, Krone has been manufacturing around 2500 refrigerated vehicles per year at its plant in Denmark (headquarters of Bernard Krone A/S) and is therefore Europe's second largest producer of refrigerated semi-trailers.
